Our Family Photo Album

This was a custom order for a very patient lady who is gifting this album to a dear friend.

This album is a 12 x 12 in the cord bound style. The embossed letters are "Our Family" in French, English and Italian. It's a delight to touch and we were very pleased with this one.

The photos were a quick edit and will be replaced sometime in the next few days with color/brightness correction. The photo album is a dark purple.

Photo Album with Personalized Initials and Date

This wedding photo album had 100 pages of Cream Rives BFK and was sewn in the longstitch style with rustic wells saddle cowhide.

The Initials were burned into the cross loop of the slide tie and the wedding date was burned onto the end of the tie.

A Custom Guest Book

I loved creating this one! My client, Candyce asked for a custom wedding guest sign in book for her upcoming wedding. She loved another book I had in my Etsy Shop, in which I burned a key and some ivy on the cover. This first book below was the muse. 

She wanted the burned design with the robin's egg blue lambskin leather. I had always had difficulties with the leather shrinking when burning in the lambskin. I found that it could be done though if the leather was glued down to the board. Candyce gave me full freedom on the design of the cover with just the key and ivy request. She let me know their initials and the date they would be married. With that information I created her guestbook. She's received the book and let me know that she loves it. I wish her all the best!

8 x 10 Cordbound Books

We've had a few requests for larger cordbound books so we've add an 8 x 10 cordbound to my Etsy Shop. This one was a custom order. It actually has 420 pages instead of the regular 500 pages. It's a beautiful book and is on it's way to a mother who is using it to write stories in for one of her five children. She plans on writing one book for each of her children. It's quite a big book to fill! 

80 Little Books - a recent custom order

These 80 little books were recent finished for a patient customer in Australia. These books will be used as little photo albums as a gift for a photographer's clients. They took about 5 times as long to make as I expected them to. That sometimes happens with custom books!

I also sell these little books in my shop with 80lb drawing/writing paper in them. They make cute little gifts and I can make them in a variety of colors!

Natural Lokta End Papers on the inside covers adds to the handmade feel of the albums.

The Phunkey Photography logo was printed on the back inside cover in it's signature pink!

The heavyweight pages have glassine between them to help protect the photographs

This is a horizontal 7.5" x 9" with the natural lokta endpapers.
